I would have given 5 stars but i think the "nook" area in the far left side of the gym is pretty dangerous 😅 the wall is very close to the climbing wall and i saw someone coming really close to hit their head on the bench nearby 😅 Also not enough changing rooms & toilets. Also also to me it wasn't very wheelchair accessible. OTHER THAN THAT great gym! Love the vibe, love the climbs.

Nice climbing gym with different types and levels of climbing walls. Every Bloc Shop gym has his climbing style and this one is perfect to train specific movements, dynos, slabs, etc. The 'Dark Room' and the Kilter Board are also very cool for that. A must go! PS : This gym has also an interior "bicycle parking" with a lot of space.

A third location for Bloc Shop in Montreal ! The new location is a bit smaller than the two others but still offers loads of fun climbs. Two rooms to climb (main room and dark room), a small area for gym/training, a cafe, bike parking and changing rooms The route settings is very enjoyable with fresh new hold, you’ll find as much crimps as slopper or pinch as well as some nice volume. Staff is very friendly The cafe serve snacks, coffee and alcohol too !

First review here! Waited for bloc shop mile ex to open from the beginning of this year. Finally! For a while I thought it will never be open , all the work in progress photos are AI generated according to their crews. : P All jokes aside,Let’s say it’s surprise that the size is huge than I imagine. This one is very close to work and live place, nothing more to ask. Perfectly gym.

MileX has shorter walls, the routes are interesting. The cafe is tucked away which is a nice treat. The darkroom is a nice concept. Setting is on bar with bloc shop standards.

This was my first time trying any of the Bloc Shop locations and I loved it! The setting here was really great. There is a good mix of styles at each grade, and there are some easier climbs with small dynos (it was great to be able to practice simple versions of these moves). I like that it is separated into two rooms, so that it feels less crowded/noisy. They also have nice shower facilities with soap, towels and hairdryers for you to use.

First time at bloc shop, came near closing time but alex (staff) was super welcoming and understanding. Gym’s air circulation is super good, clean, many good wall variety, the grading is a little soft but overall fun movements.

This review is biased as I am unfamiliar with the climbing gym scene in Montreal, so this is not a comparison with other Montreal climbing gyms. Amazing. =) Super friendly staff and community Cute cafe. Fun and aesthetic "comp" front room. Great "training" dark room. Large fitness gym. =( There is a lot of chalk in the air.
