UPT CrossFit is an amazing place to train. The facility is spacious, clean, and equipped with high-quality equipment. The community is very welcoming, supportive, and full of a good thletes that create a great training environment and challenge you to do your best. We truly appreciate the warm welcome and the opportunity to train with such a great group. Whenever we’re back in Montreal, we’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city.
I have been to this CrossFit gym a few times and I have recently brought a friend to her first ever CrossFit class. Coaches were amazing, knowledgeable and very friendly. They made us both feel right at home and helped my friend scale the workout to her level. The gym has an old school Crossfit feel and they have a lot of equipment. I highly recommend this gym if you are an experienced CrossFitter or if you want to start getting healthy!
I signed up to UPT to learn weightlifting after a friend had recommended me Jack. I had zero experience in weightlifting and found that the group classes were a great way to learn amongst other people. Over the past 3 months, I have learned a lot, improved my technique and strength and even participated in a weightlifting meet at UPT which was a really fun experience. Jack is a great coach and takes his time to teach you the basics while also helping you push your limits.
UPT has crossfit + gymnastics classes as well as weightlifting with approximately 8 real platforms that you can drop the barbell on, and excellent coaches. Weightlifting at UPT has changed my life. In little more than one year, I've gone from barely being able to do a snatch with a broom stick to reliably snatching 100 pounds, despite being in my late forties. I've gained muscle and lost fat, improved my posture, and feel amazing. Not only am I benefiting from the exercise, but the social camaraderie has greatly reduced the feeling of isolation I've felt since the pandemic. Everyone at UPT is super friendly.
The best Crossfit gym I've ever been to! The coaches are excellent and the atmosphere is incredibly motivating. The facilities are first class and there is everything you need to train effectively. I highly recommend this Crossfit gym to all fitness enthusiasts.
This is CrossFit. Expect to sweat and feel pain. If you do.plain you're in the wrong place. Staff is knowledgeable, attentive and doesn't rush you into doing things you shouldn't be doing. Classmates are friendly which allows for a great environment. If you are competitive then you'll have plenty of motivation to better yourself ( depends on which session you take part in). There are showers, lockers and drinking water...what else do you need!?
If I could give this place 6 stars I would. UPT crossfit is literally the best gym I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of. There are 2 separate programs: OLY (olympic weightlifting) and crossfit. Both offer excellent benefits depending on what you're trying to improve and focus on. The coaches for both programs are incredibly knowledgable and show passion for what they do. I'd reccomend this place to anybody.
Best gym in Montreal by far! Coaches are super knowledgable and encouraging and the members are really inclusive. The facility and equipment is brand new and clean.
