Did our first class here and the coaching is very encouraging, supportive , and attentive in correcting your form and helping you get through it. The people are so friendly and nice. The gym is spacious and clean. It was a great workout that pushes your limits.
I had been doing weight training for a couple of years, but I was looking for something that could improve my agility and boost my cardio. My tennis coach recommended this CrossFit gym—and I’m so glad he did! From the moment I stepped in for the first visit, Coach Emilie (owner and head coach) was incredibly warm and welcoming. She took the time to show me around, learn about my goals, and explain how CrossFit could help me reach them. Her energy and knowledge were immediately reassuring. I signed up for the onboarding program (five one-hour one-on-one coaching sessions), and it made a huge difference. As someone totally new to CrossFit, I learned so much about the movements, the mechanics behind them, and how to train with consistency and intensity. We worked on moves I had never done before, and I really started to understand how this sport works. After each session, my body was sore in the best way—which told me right away that these were muscles I hadn’t been properly activating before. I was initially nervous about potential injuries (you hear a lot about that when researching CrossFit), but honestly, with the right coaches and by listening to your body, that fear quickly faded. Emilie and Coach Rio always made sure I was comfortable and moving safely. They even followed up after each session to check in on how I was doing—such a nice touch. Even after just a few sessions, I’m already seeing results. I can rally so much more easily in tennis, I feel stronger and more stable, and—even better—my clothes are starting to fit more loosely! My body is definitely responding in all the right ways. I didn’t hesitate to sign up for a full membership after onboarding. I just knew this is what I want to do for the rest of my life! If you’re looking to get stronger, faster, and feel better overall—with a supportive and knowledgeable coaching team—I can’t recommend this gym enough. --------------------------------------- UPDATE I felt compelled to add this update because the progress I’ve made over the past five months has been nothing short of incredible. My strength and form have improved beyond my wildest imagination. What once felt impossible now feels achievable and that’s a powerful feeling. The coaches at CrossFit YUL are truly awesome; knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in your progress. They focus heavily on proper form and scaling, which makes a huge difference. Despite everything you might read about CrossFit, the risk of injury here is minimal because of how intentional and supportive the coaching is. Another big plus: there is a class for every schedule. Whether you’re an early bird or need an evening class, it’s easy to stay consistent. CrossFit YUL is not just a gym; it’s a social club with some of the best people I’ve come across in my life. Everyone cheers each other on, celebrates wins (big and small), and creates an incredibly positive environment. The friendships go far beyond gym conversations—people truly care about you as a human. On top of that, the gym offers side programs like nutritional clinics and discipline labs, making the experience even more complete. If you’re looking for a 360° holistic approach to wellness, both mentally and physically, CrossFit YUL is the place.

Joined CrossFit YUL in January 2023 and it was among the better decisions I have made in my life. There are so many things that make this box amazing but it starts at the top. The owner is extremely passionate about fitness and is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their full potential. His positive energy is also shared by the coaches who are not only amazing athletes themselves but are also very interested in seeing members progress no matter what level they may be at….and everyone is welcome at CrossFit YUL. One of the things I love about the place is getting to workout alongside beginners giving their all and making big gains as well as some of the top athletes in the country who inspire me on a daily basis. If you’re looking for a place to get fit there are a lot of choices in Montreal, but if you want a place to get fit as well as a place where you’ll make great friends and become a part of a really special community of amazing people then look no further than CrossFit YUL.
Absolutely love this CrossFit gym! Joining this gym has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The variety of workouts keeps things exciting and challenging every day — you never get bored, and you always feel like you’re progressing. The energy in the gym is contagious, and the positive atmosphere makes you actually look forward to working out. The community here is incredible — supportive, friendly, and motivating. It really feels like a second home. The coaches are next-level, especially Coach Emilie and Coach Rio that i have a chance to workout more with them due to my schedule.They’re not only knowledgeable and experienced, but also genuinely caring. They pay close attention to your form, give helpful advice, and know exactly when to push you — right when you think you can’t go any further, they’re there cheering you on.
