This gym is truly a hidden gem! Super professional and conveniently located near McGill metro station. The setup is great—boxing area and equipment zone are separated, and they’ve got everything you need. The classes are super diverse—I’ve tried boxing and core sessions, and both were awesome. Marc is super friendly and always encouraging, especially for beginners. He really knows how to keep you motivated. Normand is super passionate and professional—he often helps correct your form during training, which has been so helpful. I can really feel my core strength improving, and it’s been such a rewarding experience!👍 And their coffee is a nice bonus—it’s consistently good, with quality beans and a great machine. That said, I do miss my favorite Sugar Ray lately. If you just want to work out on your own, you can also get an open gym pass. All in all, this is a fantastic gym, and I hope more people discover it. Wishing them continued success!💎
I’m having an amazing time at Boxe Office. The coach is incredibly kind, supportive, and offers very detailed corrections tailored to each person’s needs. Classes are small, focused, and have the perfect balance between skill development and fitness. You truly feel pushed to improve, but always in a positive and encouraging environment. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to learn proper boxing technique while getting a great workout! (Photos are from this gym’s photo shots for other members, great vibe overall)
Boxe Office offers a good variety of classes several times a day so that anybody can learn and train. Groups are small, so participants get a good amount of attention from Normand and the other trainers. Normand ensures that you're working your body, being safe, learning the technique correctly, and having a good time. It's fun to go here, listen to some energetic music, and get a different kind of workout.
Been boxing here for years. I can’t imagine what my life would be if I didn’t walk into this gym years ago. All the highs and lows, sweats and efforts i shared with our coach Normand turned into something really strong and resilient from my inside. And Normand is the best coach I’ve ever met in my life. Definitely recommend!
Excellent gym to start boxing or improve if you already have experience. The facility is clean and well kept as well as the gear (which you can use if you do not have your own). The coaches are very detail oriented and class sizes are small (usually max is 6) so you will get lots of attention and feedback during drills. There are many different classes which all help different areas of your training and the coaches are fluent in both french and english and very friendly.
Just completed my initial Soft Box 1 session, and I'm motivated to share a positive review. The facility is excellent, the coach is fantastic, and it's an affordable way to engage in boxing fundamentals while keeping active. Arrive early during winter snow months; use the back entrance, as the front entrance is inaccessible due to the weather. Prepare for a serious sweat session!!!!
I am very fortunate to be a part of this gym. Normand is a very passionate coach and knows his stuffs really well. He explained the fundamentals and made sure everybody has good basis. I had a great time there.
The location: - very convenient for students and close to McGill metro. - interior is very clean, well kept, organized and spacious The coach: - highly knowledgeable with extraordinary attention to detail - has a genuine patience for his clients and cares about progress in your session. - clear and articulate The session: boom boxe - high intensity session that emulates rounds like a real boxing match. - 12 rounds 3 minutes each with 30 second tests. Very manageable. - enjoyable balance of freestyle bag work and directed movements - rhythmic music that did not hinder the session Results: left the session feeling more knowledgeable about the sport than before I came in. I performed at a higher level technically beyond placebo — punch quality and quantity at end of session compared to beginning was closer to proper form. Final note: There are various classes for different levels of experience. The website is clear and concise so you can match your needs at your session.
