Very basic! I visited Econofitness while staying in Montreal and ended up paying $25 for a day pass. The gym is very basic. There are only two stair masters. Putting weights away does not seem to be the norm and there is one paper towel and spray station tucked into a corner, which people didn’t seem to use very much.

I renewed my membership on Jan and since then my card stopped working 4 or 5 times and I had to go see them each time to either give me a new one or fix it which they did. Thankfully all those times were during the day until last time which was Sunday at around 8pm where no employees were there. I tried going in and the outside door was locked and my card wouldn’t work so I knocked on the glass cuz there was this guy on the treadmill and asked him if he could open the door for me. He refused which was very humiliating for me as if I’m asking for charity or something so I had to wait 15 min in the cold for someone to come in so I can have access which was a really really bad experience!! The next day I go in the morning and I speak with this lady called Shakira. I remember her name cuz it’s like the singer and I ask her why my card doesn’t work and she goes like I don’t know I have no idea your account is in good standing and everything looks fine but our system doesn’t seem to accept the card for whatever reason. Well it’s your system and it’s your card so why wouldn’t it work and why would I have to go through this inconveniences because of YOU!! Now after a long painful discussion cuz she wasn’t giving me her full attention and she was interrupting me every time I’m talking I asked for a compensation which seems very fair to do since it’s not my fault and if it was my fault they would’ve penalized me so she said she will send a ticket to the back-office or whatever and then she will call me and follow up with me. It’s been 3 days and she never called! The week my membership was ending they harassed me with calls literally everyday they would call and ask to renew and now that I had to experience this shit they’re not willing to do nothing which is very very disappointing and unacceptable. I used to talk positive about this gym to all my friends. From now on they will only hear negative comments about it!!! Thank you for the empathy and the magnificent support!!

Easy sign up process. Clean and inviting gym with lots of exercise equipment to choose from. Friendly staff. Overall a great experience at an affordable price.

The place is pretty good overall. It's a few minutes walk from my place, so very convenient. It's a little bit small, so I wouldn't suggest to go at peak hours if you don't wanna wait around. They have two bench press, a few bench. You have to bring your own yoga carpet though. The bathroom has been open lately, it's going 24/7 soon so that's a huge plus.

I love the fact that there's a room mostly for women, I am extremely self conscious so it was important for me to find a gym where I can just go train without being watched constantly. If you are like me, the best times to go are extremely early in the morning or between 11 to 12 pm, the gym is almost empty around that time so you can enjoy your training session and focus on yourself. YOU GOT THIS! 💪🏾

Good gym overall but the ventilation system needs to be cleaned more often! After each session I leave with a bag of dust in my lungs and the next day my nose and throat are itchy. Available for all Econofitness locations!

Poor equipment but still good. I’ve seen much better gyms and other econo gyms too but this one is not the best. You can still workout well there however the equipment is ok but not amazing and the space is small. I love the changing rooms there they’re very big and modern with big mirrors, that’s what stands out to me.

i am just coming to an end of a one year subscription to this gym and I cannot say enough good things about this place. The first thing is that the staff here are extremely polite, professional and pleasant and competent. You are ALWAYS greeted with a smile by everyone and some call you by NAME. Imagine! The gym offers great group courses and a variety and it is very clean! Everyone loves their job here..its awesome. Always find parking outside. Thanks to all of you...YOU ARE GREAT!
