I’ve been training for over 13 years and this is by far the worst gym I’ve ever been to. It’s extremely unorganized, the dumbbells are all over the place and definitely not in the order you would expect them to be, the staff doesn’t do anything other than just stand there, it doesn’t matter what time of day you go, it’s always packed and you have to fight to get a machine, people just stay on the machines and talk with their friends, the equipments are old worn out, out dated. They make so much money you would think they would invest in the gym for a better client experience but no they don’t. Don’t make the mistake I made by signing up without giving it a trial first because once you sign up you can’t cancel unless you pay the entire yearly amount. Anytime fitness would wipe them out if anytime decides to open up a gym in that part of town. 0/5… would not wish this gym to anyone, not even to my worst enemy

This gym is absolute trash. I’m in this area often, and I knew the old gym that used to be here; Klub Athletik. Back when this place actually made sense. They had a pool, genuinely attentive staff, and members who knew how to mind their damn business. People trained, respected space, and left. Simple. Functional. Civilized. The first idiotic decision this company made after acquiring the place? Destroy the pool, one of the only real assets to build some pretentious, ā€œpremiumā€ reserved zone. A glorified ego box. Nobody uses it because the plan is a rip-off, and the gym was already claustrophobic before they amputated usable space. Now it feels even smaller because there are two segregated areas you’re not allowed to enter unless you pay a ransom. Artificial scarcity in an already undersized gym. Brilliant. Let’s talk overcrowding, because this place is a human sardine can. Their genius solution, which I saw repeated in other replies, is: ā€œFor a better workout experience, visit during off-peak hours.ā€ Oh wow. Groundbreaking advice. Truly revolutionary. I’d love to — fantastic idea — especially since late workouts actually fit my lifestyle. Which leads us to the biggest, most infuriating problem: THE HOURS. I’m not an accountant or a business consultant, but I do possess basic cognitive function. This gym is packed. Constantly. Which means the owners are making serious money. And yet -somehow- they still close at 8 PM on weekends. Let that sink in. If you work during the week, want to train on weekends, and happen to be even slightly nocturnal: this gym is not for you. Period. End of discussion. What makes it worse is that their website proudly markets ā€œOpen 24hā€ as a perk. A complete marketing scam. Sure, there’s a tiny corporate asterisk slapped on it, but nowhere is it clearly explained that none of their gyms in QuĆ©bec are actually open 24/7. That’s not transparency — that’s deliberate deception. Now about the staff. They’re very sociable… if you’re in their little friend group. If you’re not? Try not to interrupt them while they’re busy forming circles, chatting, laughing, and doing absolutely nothing. Half the time, they look inconvenienced by customers existing. Honestly, this gym could function perfectly fine without them. So if management replies to this with the usual ā€œwe’d love to hear your suggestionsā€ — here’s one: 1. your staff is functionally useless. Just do what some gyms already do and leave the place open for members to come and go without babysitters AT ANY TIME. 2. Since you seem to love tearing up rooms and turning them into exclusive zones, here’s a real suggestion: buy the Basha space nearby and actually expand the gym. It was for sale for months last year, and it’s permanently empty anyway. But that would require reinvesting profits instead of hoarding them, wouldn’t it? Honestly, most people I see here seem to have a love-hate, hostage-style relationship with this gym. They don’t like it, they need it. It’s the only option close enough if you live near the hospital area. Without a car, you’re basically trapped here. The day another gym opens nearby, somewhere like Charlemagne, this place would dry up instantly. Final complaint, and it’s not minor: There should be gender-adjusted pricing. The operating costs of a gym comes down to water, heating, electricity, staff, and machine maintenance. If an entire section consumes those resources while being exclusively reserved for one group, yet everyone pays the same price — that’s neither equal nor fair. Either remove the women-only section or lower the price for male members, because that ā€œperkā€ does absolutely nothing for me. This gym is already overcrowded, suffocating, and poorly managed. There is no luxury margin to start pandering to every niche identity: dancers, activists, parents, and especially entitled, guilt-ridden yuppies who come once a year to justify their lifestyle, parade through the exclusive, "studio" rooms, and disappear until next January.

The best coach you can count on is William. He just started like 6 weeks back but changed my whole routine. He is very attentive, spot on and makes you progress which I never had before in this gym . He's the guy to go too and the new administration takes care of you. Props to Connie and her team 😊

This gyms way too small for the amount of people that go there and it's always packed. You've got the amazing space that's just wasted cause it's apparently for VIP which cost way too much money for, how about you open it up so you have more floor space. Makes no sense if there's never anybody in there. Nobody cleans machines and it's disgusting and unsanitary, this really needs to be addressed! I see lot's of equipment not being placed back to it's proper place. These new trainer's are ridiculous trying to get you on these terrible plans that cost a arm and a leg. So many things are broken that take forever to be fixed. Shall I keep going? Wanted to buy a beverage but waited so long I ended up just leaving cause nobody was there to serve me šŸ¤¦šŸ¾ā€ā™‚ļø. I don't know who runs this place but it's TIME to wake up and actually do something about instead of nothing. I've already turned five of my friends away from this gym. Oh and the staff do nothing but sit around just talking to certain people friends etc, when you try to get service from them you feel like you're imposing and interrupting their day.

Watch out girls.. no hot water at the showers, the water is often cold at the girls side, don’t get sick. L’eau est froide 1 fois sur 2 dans les douches des filles, de quoi tomber malade rapidement l’hiver :/ January 19th, 10:15am, -10C outside, still no hot water. Nothing is back to normal

Clean gym, nice staff, the 3 stars instead of 5 is for : 1) the lack of group classes that other world gyms offer (more yoga-stretching-pilates etc). I wish we could at least have ONE MARTIAL ART class : boxe or kickboxing or both would be amazing. I have to go to l’Acadie for this and it sucks because I live in Repen. 2) I wish there were weightlifting bumper plates available for the deadlifts and also for cleans&snatchs, i know it’s not a crossfit gym but if one wants to practice these moves, it’s no fun for the back/form with tiny 25lbs on each side… it sucks that the plates are only available in the private sections, which i wish we could access this space when it’s free because of the plates and the ā€œcrossfit cageā€, would be easier to practice pullups/muscle ups etc. 3) The lack of equipment can be frustrating sometimes. Also, in the free-weights section some benches are too fkn big (the black and red if i’m correct) and it’s hard for short people to have good form, i have to put plates so my feet can be flat ā€œon the groundā€. The benches in the picture are the best ones and yet i think there are only 2 of them.. 4) 24hrs would be nice But overall, decent gym !
