My only and big complain sometimes felt like a warehouse: the outdated old equipment are still there, nobody uses and just take the space so it's hard to find a place to stretch or do free weights type of exercises. If you by a new equipment just move the old one, or if nobody uses just sell it. I guess the owner don't have place to let the spares so just let everything there. Also is very crowded after 5pm, more then the normal and people don't know what is anti-transpirants, but this not owners fault.
A ok gym, plenty of machines and free weights, a little cramped, and can get quite crowded, especially between 5 and 8pm. Employees are friendly. Equipment can stay broken for long periods of time. Simple things like a broken cable can render a machine inoperable for weeks (at least 4 are out of order at the moment, 2 of them have been for several weeks). I guess simply not putting an Out of Order sign on such machines makes the gym look like it's in better condition? Several treadmills are often out of order or, worse, appear to function but then reset in the middle of your run. Billing is always on time.
I canceled my membership after going for a week. Everything is in terrible shape. Most of the cardio machines don’t work (and from what I hear it’s been like that for a long time), the place is dirty and crowded, the staff is rude. Nothing works in this place, I don’t understand how they’re in business
Great gym. A bit pricey and compact but has all the essentials.
I have been coming here for a few years now. Love the team and overall the gym is fantastic, clean, great facilities and equipment. Although the renovations have been a great improvement, there are a few comments which I’m sure there will be adjustments as it is a new setup. - maybe there are too many machines as there isn’t much space for other activités or if busy there’s waiting for machines since the limited open space doesn’t allow for much freestyle workouts on account there are so many machines/benches close together. For example even squeezing between the hip thrust machine and glute machine as a small person it is tight that I nearly tripped or doing kickbacks near the benches is only possible if someone isn’t on the bench next to it. It might need a little adjustment in terms of layout, but with a few adjustments it would be perfect! I do love the variety of machines and equipment they added so it keeps my workout routines fresh and interesting. Also, the trainer is great for beginners wanting to get comfortable specifically as a female weightlifter in a more male dominated space. She helped me establish safe posture for my lifting and helped prevent any injury. As well as discussed my goals and some tips on how to reach them. Overall Highly recommend!
I am from kelowna and visiting family in Montreal. We travel often and most places we visit we join a gym while there. This gym was very clean and well equipped with great equipment. The staff were kind and accommodating. Thank you for a great experience while in Montreal. Les
Fellas, this gym has everything you need. They recently renovated and have increased the overall size of the gym and the amount of equipment. They have flexible membership contracts AND are 24/7. Special shout out to Martin, he's an absolutely fantastic employee.
First and foremost the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The gym itself is pretty small, with almost half the space dedicated to classes, so it gets very crowded. There's not a ton of variety in terms of machines, and they often stay broken for weeks at a time. Opening hours on the weekend could also be improved, as the gym closes pretty early. Overall it's not an awful gym, but it's not a great one either.
