I started spinning at this studio in February, and I’ve had an amazing experience ever since. From my very first class, I’ve had so much fun, and it’s amazing to see how much I’ve improved with each session. I’ve been consistent and disciplined about attending since I signed up. I do it purely for fun. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the energy and vibes in the studio are always fantastic. I love that we work out in a group with the lights off, all while riding to the beat of the music. The themed music rides are also a big highlight for me, and I love it when they shout out our names during class to motivate us. The coaches consistently push us to improve with each class. Paying for these classes feels like an investment in myself and my health. I also appreciate how easy it is to find street parking nearby. I can’t imagine my life now without this studio, and I highly recommend it to everyone. I’m forever grateful to have found this place!
Spinco is my absolute favorite studio! It's small but has an unbeatable vibe and makes cardio genuinely fun. The instructors are the best in the city, delivering amazing energy, intuitive cues, and motivational moments every time. Fun playlists and theme rides keep things fresh, I always look forward to the class! All that, and the post workout bliss keep me coming back! Also shoutout to the team that make this place special! 🤍 Good to know: - Studio and locker rooms are small (only 2 showers), but clean. - Towels, spin shoes, and bathroom basics are all provided. - Pro Tip: Bring a big water bottle and arrive 10 minutes early! Highly recommend if you want to push yourself and have a blast!
This was my first time at Spinco. As a new rider, I was expecting a brief overview of the bike setup, movements, or positions, but none of that was covered. We arrived about 20 minutes early, so there was plenty of time to go over the basics without taking away from other riders. Thankfully, my sister was with me and helped adjust my bike and explain things. Even she was disappointed, as she regularly attends another Spinco location where instructors consistently take time to walk new riders through the movements. I wish there was more consistency across studios, especially when it comes to welcoming and supporting first-time riders.
Bad experience without even taking the first class. Got denied at the first class i booked because apparently i had to come in 15 before to be eligible to get into the class…i got in before the class started there was no one at the reception waited for someone than receptionist came handed the shoes to me and my friend only for another to come and tells us it’s too late that we can’t get inside when i was waiting and there was no one. She Insisted on the fact that we had to come 15 min before which i had no idea because when i called earlier to book the receptionist suggested to book via the app and no where in the app nor the receptionist mentioned that we had to be in earlier. If the staff is so sharp about the rules to be applied to clients, they must apply the same standard to themselves. Then, a person named Nada “offered” to refund me after she denied me to get in (when i was there before the class started) as if it was a favour to be refunded. Came all the way to attend a class for the first time and being denied entry after being handed the shoes because there was no one at the reception. Not so great first impression at all. Very disappointing.
Sadly, a studio with no empathy. If I could, I’d give them 0 stars. I’ve been going to this studio for over a year now, but was extremely disappointed with how I was treated today. It was freezing rain, and I was running 2 minutes late for class. I called, asking whether it would be possible to get into my class. I was told I was not able to enter. I was soaking wet, trying my best to make it to class but was denied entry. Truly terrible, especially as someone who has been a loyal client.
I for two weeks at Spinco just to see which spinning studio I preferred. Honestly, the instructors are energetic, and really fun. But here’s the problem: some of the reception staff. the two girls at the 5th of November at 5 were downright unpleasant. I went to the locker room to take a shower . Yet they kept coming in and out repeatedly for no reason White i was getting dressed making me feel extremely uncomfortable . It was intrusive I ended up rushing just to get out of there because it was so awkward and unpleasant. On top of that, I was once charged $28 just for canceling a session due to a flat tire. Their policies are rigid . I personally switched to Bicycle and can wholeheartedly recommend them over Spinco.
AMAZING experience!! the best birthday gift you can ever have. my mom wishes she lived in montreal to come here weekly! we almost died, but survived!!! which is the spirit at spinco! patricia was our instructor and she is so lovely and caring, making sure we were comfortable with everything. thank u spinco!!!
Spinco is amazing! I have tried many spin studios and honestly they’re the best (the music is good, the instructors are all great motivating).
