⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve had a great experience at Pro Gym Montreal. The gym is very clean, well organized, and never feels overcrowded. The machines and free weights are in excellent condition, and the atmosphere is very motivating. The staff are professional, helpful, and always welcoming. Definitely one of the best gyms in Montreal ,highly recommended for beginners and experienced lifters🏋️♀️
I really love this gym, it’s one of the best. But the staff can feel a bit distant not exactly “Gym Community” (Claudia). It costs nothing to reply when someone says “have a good evening.” I actually stopped saying it when it’s that person. Instead of staying on your phone, try creating a connection that’s what Progym is about.
Biggest gym I have ever been to! You will never have to wait for a bench, treadmill or a machine. Some of the equipment is old thats because whenever something is replaced they keep the old equipment cause they have the space for that. Their cafeteria is pretty decent, not sure how fresh the food is but it looks pretty good. Only issue is the locker room which needs a bit of work.
Not 2 bad rarely overcrowded except of course in resolution month :). Well the place needs some overhaul. Quite old equipment and really needs some upgrades. A lot of self important people but I guess any gym is full of it. Kind stuff who knows you quickly. And please don't expect easy parking. Photos will follow.
Cool, spacious gym. Some machines and weights have definitely seen better days… I have been coming for nearly a month and captured this photo when I started. This image is still in tact in the gym… which makes me think the gym doesnt really get cleaned often or thorough. Otherwise, it is a fine gym
I simply didn't go back because it is not a clean gym, specially water fountains. They are disgusting. Although the opening hours are great, at peak hours is hard to find a machines and free parking.
Located at 5min walk between metro pie 9 & Viau it also has a big parking. Usually full but always a place to park. Several prices available depending of the current promotion and how many friends you refer (the more you refer the more you save) you can get til 50% off = 249.99$+tx for a year (check conditions). There's also a pass of 25 times for 175$ it doesn't has an expired date and it's good for 3 months when training twice a week or going whenever you feel like it. It has significantly reduce the variety of the group classes and the schedule too (changes each 4 months) it use to be some zumba twice a week, more yoga, pilates, mix circuits... There's also a ring for boxe NOT included in your subscription costing at least 30-45$/class private lessons. Healthy bar, salon, sauna, supplement shop, CrossFit/bootcamp equipment available, personal trainer. Possible to rent equipment too with a 25$ deposit which gives you a golden card. Lots of machines of different kind, place looks clean and there's lot of light even when it's cloudy. I never saw anyone waiting for a machine and it's one of the few gyms that opens 24h (except wked). Showers would need a redo and calibrate the water since it's either rly hot or very cold nothing warm. Finally, the gym is kids friendly. Before there's was a paying daycare but I think it changed and now there's a free spot especially for toddlers quite small but still. Personally it's quit expensive if you go less than 3x/week but might be worth going daily. Outdoor space training now available too with coconut trees and all!
The gym needs to focus on getting a few good quality machines instead of getting too many old, cheap , low quality machines that doesn’t work properly and they’re just there to fill the space.
